transparent foil 12,5 m × 8 m, four lights, taut line

The floor of the exhibition space was made of coarse chipboard and I spread a 100 m² transparent foil on the floor which almost covered it. Then I traced the outlines of the bigger chips with a black permanent marker. Following this, I hung up the foil on a taut line in the same room. When the exhibition took place, the visitors were asked to take off their shoes before entering the room installation. The way of walking changed consequently from heel strike (with shoes) to forefoot strike (barefoot) and they perceived the floor automatically more intensive. Now they could enter the room and walk barefoot around the drawing on the floor.
